What We Do

Any form of violence must be met with resistance. We believe the only way to resist is to effectively strategize and organize. We teach the collective community defense strategies that are rooted in first-hand experience and knowledge to fight against the criminal punishment system.

We are not providing legal advice. We are building an empowered community that understands and is supported as they push back against a system of punishment.

Resistance

Our Collective is grassroots and collaborative. We are building a collaborative and imaginative spaces to work together. We collaborate with other organizations and community members.

Involvement

We gather every other Sunday for the community to have a space to share, learn, and connect with others who are directly impacted by the criminal legal system. No one should feel alone in their fight to be free. We also stand with people in court for proceedings, court watch, and public events.

Solidarity

We hold space for teach ins about bills and laws, legal processes, re-entry resources, record collection, trauma informed-care, mutual aid response, jury duty, political advocacy, and restorative justice practices.
